The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ismael Kline showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Futterman in the 6th minute of the match. RiverCity Gamblers's Casey Michel got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Flint Thacker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Kline saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Bradley Burroughs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djibouti Jujy Fruits's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradley Burroughs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind RiverCity Gamblers's goalkeeper Ismael Kline, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 25 minutes, Michal Rejman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djibouti Jujy Fruits's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michal Rejman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Eric Vernon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RiverCity Gamblers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Djibouti Jujy Fruits the free kick. After a rather tough play, RiverCity Gamblers's Toby Buckley got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Bill Major got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Scottie Bates hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Bradley Burroughs hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ismael Kline took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fritz Futterman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fritz Futterman came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Djibouti Jujy Fruits fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fritz Futterman couldn't finish the play. Michal Rejman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerald McRae charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerald McRae the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gerald McRae hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michal Rejman was the one to do the kick off. Fritz Futterman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Kline having to interfere. Michal Rejman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Kline showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Futterman in the 58th minute of the match. After 59 minutes of play, Djibouti Jujy Fruits's Fritz Futterman made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Kline was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilberto Boyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradly Root in the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Michal Rejman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Djibouti Jujy Fruits's supporters rose to their feet, but Michal Rejman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Kline breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Djibouti Jujy Fruits's Michal Rejman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Kline made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Ismael Kline made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Burroughs in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, RiverCity Gamblers's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Futterman came free, but Ismael Kline reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casey Michel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michal Rejman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86thth minute of the game Fritz Futterman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RiverCity Gamblers's Ismael Kline was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Fritz Futterman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Djibouti Jujy Fruits's supporters rose to their feet, but Fritz Futterman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Kline breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flint Thacker in the 93rd minute of play forced RiverCity Gamblers's goalkeeper Ismael Kline to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Eric Vernon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bill Major took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ismael Kline. RiverCity Gamblers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Flint Thacker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Djibouti Jujy Fruits fully deserved thier win.
