Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bradly Root got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Terrance Agoos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pollock Pines AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terrance Agoos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th match minute, Pollock Pines AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terrance Agoos to maneuver through the defense. Collin Lyles's late challenge caught a RiverCity Gamblers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Collin Lyles helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of RiverCity Gamblers booed when Pollock Pines AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Collin Lyles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Jackson Creech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casey Michel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tião Galvão having to interfere. Terrance Agoos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Kline came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Pollock Pines AFC's Dominique Fields. But to his dismay, Dominique Fields quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eric Vernon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Joe Schmitt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pollock Pines AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joe Schmitt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Kline breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, RiverCity Gamblers's goal looked a bit too open when Dominique Fields came free, but Ismael Kline reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Casey Michel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RiverCity Gamblers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casey Michel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Terrance Agoos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Pollock Pines AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bradly Root came free, but Tião Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Kline didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Terrance Agoos went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Casey Michel struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Tião Galvão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RiverCity Gamblers. 38 minutes into the game, Dominique Fields cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ismael Kline was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toby Buckley kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Gerald McRae kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Rhett Adair sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and RiverCity Gamblers's Ismael Kline didn't even have to move. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joe Schmitt was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Dominique Fields managed to get in a good position for a shot. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Pollock Pines AFC's Dominique Fields slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael Kline. That made the score 0-4 after 64 minutes of play. The supporters of RiverCity Gamblers booed when Pollock Pines AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vince Whittaker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tião Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradly Root, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pollock Pines AFC were furious when Willis Tovar was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pollock Pines AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Vince Whittaker hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Jorge Cote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ismael Kline tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joe Schmitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toby Buckley hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Pollock Pines AFC's Collin Lyles got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Terrance Agoos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Ismael Kline tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eric Vernon came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the RiverCity Gamblers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Vernon couldn't finish the play. Pollock Pines AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
