When Dudley Carrington fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muppet XI's protests and gave Dudley Carrington a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Dudley Carrington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Muppet XI's Conrad Madison sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tião Galvão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jamar Ingram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garret Zepeda kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Jamar Ingram cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tião Galvão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pollock Pines AFC's Tião Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamar Ingram in the 19th minute of play. Duke Holden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominique Fields in the 20th minute of the match. Muppet XI's Duke Holden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Muppet XI from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Muppet XI getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Weldon Chester hit a great ball. Dudley Carrington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Tião Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Muppet XI's Duke Holden got control of the ball when Dominique Fields tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute, Terrance Agoos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Duke Holden. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 62nd minute Jorge Cote shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duke Holden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duke Holden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 90 minutes into the match, Dominique Fields notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Muppet XI's Duke Holden. Duke Holden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Pollock Pines AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
