After 6 minutes Make America Great Again's goalkeeper Rick Ochoa managed, with a little bit of luck, save Gerry Ivey's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Rick Ochoa was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Gerry Ivey capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gerry Ivey really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cristopher Munson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cole Kidd in the 10th minute of play. If Mitchell Starr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitchell Starr in the 23rd minute of play forced Make America Great Again's goalkeeper Rick Ochoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Callahan got free with Rick Ochoa in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Los Angeles F.C getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Christian Magee hit a great ball. Los Angeles F.C's Cristopher Munson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cole Kidd in the 31st minute of play. Cristopher Munson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cole Kidd went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Los Angeles F.C's Mitchell Starr got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cole Kidd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Cole Kidd put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cristopher Munson.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cole Kidd made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Rolando Callahan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Angeles F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Make America Great Again the free kick. Rick Ochoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitchell Starr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Jed Uribe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristopher Munson. Jed Uribe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Make America Great Again's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
