Caleb Betts's late challenge caught a Djibouti Jujy Fruits's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caleb Betts helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Muppet XI got a freekick which was hit by Caleb Betts. Gilberto Boyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Weldon Chester in the 8th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Djibouti Jujy Fruits's Kasey Lopez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duke Holden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fritz Futterman in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duke Holden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Duke Holden was a little too slow when Michal Rejman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 22 played minutes Djibouti Jujy Fruits got a freekick which was hit by Michal Rejman. When Conrad Madison came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Muppet XI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrad Madison couldn't finish the play. Muppet XI's Duke Holden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Rejman in the 26th minute of play. Duke Holden came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Djibouti Jujy Fruits's Fritz Futterman. But to his dismay, Fritz Futterman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Muppet XI's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Rejman came free, but Duke Holden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fritz Futterman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duke Holden having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hunter Bermudez during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Muppet XI's Hunter Bermudez got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Cao Lei Yi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 46th minute, Michal Rejman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrad Madison made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flint Thacker in the 52nd minute of play forced Muppet XI's goalkeeper Duke Holden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes Djibouti Jujy Fruits got a freekick which was hit by Kasey Lopez. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fritz Futterman in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 72nd minute, Michal Rejman made a precise shot to the right of Duke Holden. Muppet XI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 76 minutes into the match, Muppet XI's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Burroughs came free, but Duke Holden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Djibouti Jujy Fruits's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bill Major in the 77th minute. The corner led Djibouti Jujy Fruits's Bill Major to fire away a dangerous shot which Duke Holden despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 78 played minutes Muppet XI got a freekick which was hit by Hunter Bermudez. Duke Holden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fritz Futterman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Fritz Futterman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duke Holden was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Michal Rejman might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duke Holden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michal Rejman ran back to his position shaking his head. Duke Holden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Rejman, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Fritz Futterman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Djibouti Jujy Fruits were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Muppet XI's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bill Major took the corner. Michal Rejman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duke Holden having to make a save.
