Rich Hill FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tarboro FC the free kick. The supporters of Tarboro FC booed when Rich Hill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. After the first half Rich Hill FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elliott Kyle was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Dwight Moreland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarboro FC's Seth Schulz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dennis Galvan hit a great ball. Rich Hill FC played a much better game than Tarboro FC and deserved their victory. The Tarboro FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
