The New England Minas fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when New England Minas's Anthony Faturrahman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Oswego getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Marshall Randle hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Monroe Colvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Terrence McAllister managed to get in a good position for a shot. New England Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Terrence McAllister was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Parnell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Terrence McAllister in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Parnell saved Oswego from getting behind. In the 84th minute, New England Minas's Terrence McAllister ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Michael Parnell. Michael Parnell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-9. New England Minas's Kasey Countess played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Winston Huff in the 91st minute of play. New England Minas played a much better game than Oswego and deserved their victory. The Oswego players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
