Ian Brennan might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Browning. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ian Brennan ran back to his position shaking his head. Ken Chen charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ken Chen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rich Hill FC's Ken Chen got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute of the match Rocky Squires sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergey Kazachenok skillfully saved the ball. Rocky Squires made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Rich Hill FC's George Chung. Leonardo Browning made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dwight Moreland in the 12th minute. Trinidad Whitaker hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The supporters of Rich Hill FC booed when Red Hill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Piorno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Browning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Craig Chang in the 15th minute of the match. Leonardo Browning was a little too slow when Ian Brennan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Dwight Moreland kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Rich Hill FC's Sergey Kazachenok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lloyd Castillo in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Hermon in the 29th minute of play forced Rich Hill FC's goalkeeper Sergey Kazachenok to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Red Hill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dwight Moreland came free, but Leonardo Browning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Rich Hill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Chung to maneuver through the defense. Sergey Kazachenok didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rocky Squires went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dwight Moreland to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes Red Hill FC got a freekick which was hit by Freddie Vargas. Leonardo Browning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carson Craven, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 59 minutes of play, Rich Hill FC's Dwight Moreland made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Browning was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 65 played minutes Rich Hill FC got a freekick which was hit by Dwight Moreland. Leonardo Browning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dwight Moreland in the 71st minute of play. Ken Chen scored 3-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Browning, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dwight Moreland struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Leonardo Browning didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rich Hill FC. If Maitham Al Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonardo Browning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dwight Moreland, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jasper McCormick in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergey Kazachenok prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rich Hill FC's George Chung quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rocky Squires, made in the 91st minute of the game. The supporters of Rich Hill FC booed when Red Hill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Piorno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rich Hill FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
