Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5993, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) The New England Minas fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when New England Minas's Terrence McAllister looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 6th minute, Terrence McAllister made a precise shot to the right of Frankie Herndon. Mile High FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Werner Kessler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Mile High FC's Laurence Reeder got a free kick in the 12th minute. Frankie Herndon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terrence McAllister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marlon Vernon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andre Teague in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rex Watts to maneuver through the defense. Marlon Vernon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Teague, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mile High FC's Andre Teague got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Terrence McAllister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frankie Herndon having to interfere. Mile High FC's Frankie Herndon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terrence McAllister in the 34th minute of play. Anthony Faturrahman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Terrence McAllister's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frankie Herndon was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Terrence McAllister sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frankie Herndon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kelly Hobson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half New England Minas were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andre Teague stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Mile High FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Son Santiago who took care of the corner kick. After 58 played minutes Mile High FC got a freekick which was hit by Andre Teague. 62 minutes into the match, Mile High FC's goalkeeper Frankie Herndon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikitas Papaiakovou. 64 minutes into the game, Raymundo Alvaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mile High FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New England Minas the free kick. In the 64th minute, Raymundo Alvaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Terrence McAllister fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Mile High FC's zone, Terrence McAllister stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frankie Herndon came out of the goal and Terrence McAllister tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marlon Vernon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Teague, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Kelly Hobson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 82ndth minute of the game Terrence McAllister who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mile High FC's Frankie Herndon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andre Teague in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marlon Vernon saved New England Minas from getting behind. Frankie Herndon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrence McAllister in the 88th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Mile High FC's goal looked a bit too open when Terrence McAllister came free, but Frankie Herndon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raymundo Alvaro kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Terrence McAllister managed to get in a good position for a shot. New England Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Terrence McAllister was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frankie Herndon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over New England Minas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mile High FC throughout the match.
