Toby Cavazos's late challenge caught a Millersville AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toby Cavazos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Los Angeles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Nichols to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danny Vargas in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wallace McConnell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wallace McConnell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Vincenzo Price received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wallace McConnell came out and tried to block the shot, but Vincenzo Price slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Los Angeles FC's Toby Cavazos got a free kick in the 17th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Millersville AFC's Hal McNally slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wallace McConnell. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. Benedict Cottrell got his second yellow card in the match during the 25th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Millersville AFC booed when Los Angeles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedict Cottrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th match minute, Millersville AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Reagan to maneuver through the defense. Claude Allred took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tracy Walls. Millersville AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Danny Vargas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wallace McConnell was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Wallace McConnell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danny Vargas's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Vincenzo Price fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wallace McConnell having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Millersville AFC's Danny Vargas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wallace McConnell. Wallace McConnell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. A collision led to Los Angeles FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Brent Fontenot hit a great ball. Danny Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wallace McConnell having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toby Cavazos made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Millersville AFC's goalkeeper Tracy Walls had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toby Cavazos. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bryant Moses during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Millersville AFC booed when Los Angeles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryant Moses didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vincenzo Price had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes of play, Millersville AFC's Vincenzo Price made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wallace McConnell was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64thth minute of the game Danny Vargas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Angeles FC's Wallace McConnell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wallace McConnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincenzo Price in the 66th minute of play. Wallace McConnell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danny Vargas's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Vincenzo Price notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Los Angeles FC's Wallace McConnell. Wallace McConnell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute, Merlin Whitman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the game, Danny Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Wallace McConnell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes into the match, Los Angeles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vincenzo Price came free, but Wallace McConnell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vincenzo Price came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Millersville AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincenzo Price couldn't finish the play. Vincenzo Price took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wallace McConnell. Wallace McConnell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Millersville AFC fully deserved thier win.
