Misinformed Buffalo's Jon Bonilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casey Whitfield in the 32nd minute of play. When Mckinley Leslie came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Misinformed Buffalo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mckinley Leslie couldn't finish the play. After 37 minutes, Aurelio Hudson made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Washburn FC's Isaiah Grove tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Duane Glenn's late challenge caught a Misinformed Buffalo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duane Glenn helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Aurelio Hudson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Misinformed Buffalo's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Hudson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaiah Grove breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casey Whitfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jon Bonilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelio Hudson was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Washburn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Hudson came free, but Isaiah Grove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaiah Grove stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Hudson's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Hudson in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaiah Grove saved Washburn FC from getting behind. Isaiah Grove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Hudson in the 63rd minute of the match. Wiley Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Alefors kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Misinformed Buffalo's Brock Lott got a free kick in the 77th minute. A collision led to Misinformed Buffalo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Wiley Abel hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Aurelio Hudson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaiah Grove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Hudson in the 86th minute of the match. After 87 minutes Washburn FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mckinley Leslie who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Mckinley Leslie almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Washburn FC's Isaiah Grove did a great save. In the 89thth minute of the game Aurelio Hudson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Washburn FC's Isaiah Grove was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
