After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Jacques Sorenson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matthorias FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacques Sorenson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phillip Quintana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Red Dragons's Phillip Quintana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarvis Zamora in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jayson Faulk in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belmiro Palermo saved Matthorias FC from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Belmiro Palermo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bart Wyatt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Belmiro Palermo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bart Wyatts short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Belmiro Palermo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Otto Mosher hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Bart Wyatt succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Belmiro Palermo was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Jayson Faulk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jayson Faulk really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Red Dragons's Phillip Quintana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Nichols in the 44th minute of play. The supporters of Red Dragons booed when Matthorias FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarvis Zamora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute, Bart Wyatt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Belmiro Palermo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jayson Faulk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Belmiro Palermo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Red Dragons's Thad Fisher was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Belmiro Palermo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jarvis Zamora might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Phillip Quintana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarvis Zamora ran back to his position shaking his head. Belmiro Palermo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thad Fisher in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Bart Wyatt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Dragons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Phillip Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Nichols in the 80th minute of play. Thad Fisher kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Jayson Faulk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Palermo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Matthorias FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Matthorias FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Red Dragons were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
