Korey Marin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Danny Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Millersville AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Danny Vargas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korey Marin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Millersville AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosario Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes Millersville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Wynn. In the 44th minute Danny Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korey Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korey Marin came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Millersville AFC's Danny Vargas. When David Bryant fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Millersville AFC's protests and gave David Bryant a yellow card for diving instead. Tracy Walls showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stan Baggett in the 79th minute of the match. FC Barcelona's Korey Marin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona from getting a goal against them. Millersville AFC's Tracy Walls played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro McNeal in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Rosario Vigil came free, but Korey Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Danny Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korey Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Millersville AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
