The crowd rose to their feet as Holmes Beach's Rickie Love slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Belmiro Palermo. That made the score 3-2 after 74 minutes of play. João Paulo Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Holmes Beach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bill Cullen to maneuver through the defense. Warren Priest hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Matthorias FC fully deserved thier win.
