An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Wyatt in the 32nd minute of play forced Washburn FC's goalkeeper Isaiah Grove to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phillip Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casey Whitfield in the 37th minute of play. Clinton Brownell kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casey Whitfield made a kick off. Duane Glenn might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Phillip Quintana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duane Glenn ran back to his position shaking his head. Noel Morrison hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Red Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Casey Whitfield came free, but Phillip Quintana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Washburn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jayson Faulk came free, but Isaiah Grove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
