The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Chance Canales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Millersville AFC's Danny Vargas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 10th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Vargas in the 15th minute of play forced Mickey Cohen FC's goalkeeper Mel Masters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Bryant kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vincenzo Price in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mel Masters prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Danny Vargas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Mel Masters when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Danny Vargas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Mel Masters made a huge save. Millersville AFC's Tracy Walls played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chance Canales in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Millersville AFC defense, Chance Canales kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tracy Walls. The Millersville AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tracy Walls should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danny Vargas was the one to do the kick off. Vincenzo Price sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sander Minnen's late challenge caught a Millersville AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mel Masters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosario Vigil in the 71st minute of the match. Millersville AFC's Hal McNally got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincenzo Price in the 87th minute of play forced Mickey Cohen FC's goalkeeper Mel Masters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Millersville AFC's Vincenzo Price got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chance Canales hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Millersville AFC's zone, Timmy Shapiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tracy Walls came out of the goal and Timmy Shapiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincenzo Price in the 95th minute of play forced Mickey Cohen FC's goalkeeper Mel Masters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Millersville AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
