Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Chance Canales made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the game, Shawn Diamond cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mel Masters was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Timmy Shapiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alex Pearson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Pearson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chance Canales, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Arnoldo Stahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Mel Masters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Brainerd FC booed when Mickey Cohen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rashad Marrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shawn Diamond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Mel Masters made a huge save. Orlando Thayer charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Thayer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Orlando Thayer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shawn Diamond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mel Masters having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Mickey Cohen FC got a freekick which was hit by Chance Canales. Arnoldo Stahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Rashad Marrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mel Masters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cobi Wray in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Stahl to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Mickey Cohen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sander Minnen to maneuver through the defense. When Elias Lockhart came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Brainerd FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Lockhart couldn't finish the play. Orlando Thayer got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Orlando Thayer kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Shawn Diamond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brainerd FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shawn Diamond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mel Masters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shawn Diamond in the 62nd minute of play forced Mickey Cohen FC's goalkeeper Mel Masters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Romeo Diggs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mickey Cohen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brainerd FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mickey Cohen FC's Romeo Diggs got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 68 minutes of play Mickey Cohen FC's Romeo Diggs was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Chance Canales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shawn Diamond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mel Masters having to interfere. After 89 minutes of play, Mickey Cohen FC's Chance Canales made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Pearson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Brainerd FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mickey Cohen FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Mickey Cohen FC.
