A collision led to Brainerd FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Everett Slater hit a great ball. Casey Whitfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alex Pearson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaiah Grove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Stahl in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Cobi Wray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casey Whitfield's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Alex Pearson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Washburn FC's Isaiah Grove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shawn Diamond in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Brainerd FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Weiss to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Washburn FC booed when Brainerd FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shawn Diamond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaiah Grove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Stahl in the 37th minute of the match. Alex Pearson had great luck who in the 41stth minute grab hold of the ball when Casey Whitfield from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Isaiah Grove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Stahl in the 43rd minute of play. Isaiah Grove came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Brainerd FC's Arnoldo Stahl. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Stahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Isaiah Grove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shawn Diamond in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casey Whitfield stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isaiah Grove showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Stahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Brainerd FC's Orlando Thayer shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Isaiah Grove but with some difficulty. Isaiah Grove showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Stahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casey Whitfield in the 70th minute of play forced Brainerd FC's goalkeeper Alex Pearson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Brainerd FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Vincent Weiss hit a great ball. Casey Whitfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
