Mickey Cohen FC's Mel Masters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stan Baggett in the 19th minute of play. When Curt Betts fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mickey Cohen FC's protests and gave Curt Betts a yellow card for diving instead. Curt Betts kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Stan Baggett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rashad Marrero during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Mickey Cohen FC got a freekick which was hit by Sander Minnen.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stan Baggett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chance Canales struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Korey Marin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mickey Cohen FC. Rashad Marrero kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Mickey Cohen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stan Baggett came free, but Mel Masters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stan Baggett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mel Masters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mel Masters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Genaro McNeal in the 61st minute. Sander Minnen kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Mel Masters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stan Baggett in the 64th minute of play. If Benny Sherrill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Rashad Marrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Stan Baggett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 78 played minutes Mickey Cohen FC got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Diggs. After a rather tough play, Mickey Cohen FC's Rashad Marrero got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Mickey Cohen FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Barcelona were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
