If Donald Ragsdale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Aurelio Hudson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Misinformed Buffalo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Hudson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brock Lott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas Traylor hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Los Angeles FC's Bryant Moses played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Hudson in the 34th minute of play. If Aurelio Hudson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bryant Moses took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Hudson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Los Angeles FC's Bryant Moses got control of the ball when Aurelio Hudson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute Misinformed Buffalo were awarded a corner. Mckinley Leslie went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Mckinley Leslie almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Angeles FC's Bryant Moses did a great save. After 48 played minutes Los Angeles FC got a freekick which was hit by Rickey Hare. When Mckinley Leslie came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Misinformed Buffalo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mckinley Leslie couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedict Berger made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Brock Lott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bryant Moses showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Hudson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 62nd minute, Claude Allred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Brock Lott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Hudson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Bryant Moses tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mckinley Leslie fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Misinformed Buffalo's protests and gave Mckinley Leslie a yellow card for diving instead. Mckinley Leslie kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The long shot by Clay Greer in the 84th minute really tested Jon Bonilla's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Los Angeles FC's zone, Aurelio Hudson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryant Moses came out of the goal and Aurelio Hudson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by J.P. Payne during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Misinformed Buffalo getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. J.P. Payne hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Misinformed Buffalo fully deserved thier win.
