Jayson Faulkner made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Casey Whitfield sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casey Whitfield got free with Jayson Faulkner in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Washburn FC's corner Scottie Reid fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jayson Faulkner quite easily take care of the ball. In the 30th minute, Duane Glenn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaiah Grove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cameron McCabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jayson Faulkner stood somewhat misplaced when Casey Whitfield came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. In the 38th minute Cameron McCabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaiah Grove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casey Whitfield in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jayson Faulkner saved Los Angeles FC from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Duane Glenn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Washburn FC booed when Los Angeles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliott Vilter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jayson Faulkner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casey Whitfield's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 73rd match minute, Washburn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Bruner to maneuver through the defense. Cameron McCabe was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, Robbie Hicks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Washburn FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Duane Glenn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jayson Faulkner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Duane Glenn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Washburn FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Washburn FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
