After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in San Jose Sparrows's zone, Clinton Morin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Schmidt came out of the goal and Clinton Morin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, San Jose Sparrows's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Krueger came free, but Pedro Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Krueger in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, San Jose Sparrows's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Krueger came free, but Pedro Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Hazardous Hornets lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
