Pedro Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Beach, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stephan Spears in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Haynes saved Los Americans FC from getting behind. Pedro Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olin McRae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Olin McRae cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Pedro Schmidt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Los Americans FC's Sammy Beach in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pedro Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olin McRae in the 76th minute of the match. Los Americans FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
