Thad Hickman might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raymundo Uster. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thad Hickman ran back to his position shaking his head. Stephan Spears's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raymundo Uster read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Raymundo Uster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Spears, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Rhett Boone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Agustin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.

San Jose Sparrows's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Whaley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Agustin FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
