With a little luck, Heat Wave Sports's Vincenzo Ross got control of the ball when Arthur Sweeney tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Arthur Sweeney's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vincenzo Ross was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Vincenzo Ross was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arthur Sweeney showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Vincenzo Ross came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by California United Striker's Arthur Sweeney. But to his dismay, Arthur Sweeney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Vincenzo Ross showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Sweeney, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Ian Farmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of California United Striker booed when Heat Wave Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernie Wallace didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur Sweeney in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vincenzo Ross, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 33rdth minute of the game Arthur Sweeney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heat Wave Sports's Vincenzo Ross was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. California United Striker's Hugo Rushing managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ernie Wallace in the 36 minute of the game. Vincenzo Ross took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Sweeney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to California United Striker getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Hugo Rushing hit a great ball. After 64 minutes, Elton Grimes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the California United Striker and the Heat Wave Sports players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vincenzo Ross made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Farmer in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Arthur Sweeney ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincenzo Ross was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When Ian Farmer came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the California United Striker fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Farmer couldn't finish the play. In the 85th match minute, California United Striker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Rushing to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Sweeney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vincenzo Ross took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Sweeney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Elton Grimes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Solomon Randall acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Xavier Gobeo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Sweeney in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincenzo Ross saved Heat Wave Sports from getting behind. California United Striker's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
