Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1610, VIP seats: 140) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stephan Spears kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Cyber EVO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanner Blum to maneuver through the defense. San Jose Sparrows's Pedro Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zulfadli Soekarno in the 6th minute of play. Zulfadli Soekarno took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Schmidt. Pedro Schmidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Zulfadli Soekarno succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. 14 minutes into the game, Tanner Blum was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cyber EVO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Jose Sparrows the free kick. After 14 played minutes Cyber EVO got a freekick which was hit by Tanner Blum. Stephan Spears received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hermínio Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, San Jose Sparrows's goal looked a bit too open when Randall Sharp came free, but Pedro Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wictor Vinström, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 25th minute, Randall Sharp made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Schmidt. San Jose Sparrows's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When Bobby Beasley came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Cyber EVO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bobby Beasley couldn't finish the play. Pedro Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Randall Sharp, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Pedro Schmidt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Randall Sharp went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Pedro Schmidt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bobby Beasley went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

San Jose Sparrows's Pedro Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Coats in the 52nd minute of play. Randall Sharp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Pedro Schmidt made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stephan Spears during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joe Rosado's late challenge caught a Cyber EVO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joe Rosado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, San Jose Sparrows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joe Rosado to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Cyber EVO's Warner Lockhart dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Johnny Coats could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Pedro Schmidt made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randall Sharp in the 76th minute of play forced San Jose Sparrows's goalkeeper Pedro Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zulfadli Soekarno in the 80th minute of play. Pedro Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Coats in the 83rd minute of the match. San Jose Sparrows's Pedro Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wictor Vinström in the 84th minute of play. Pedro Schmidt was a little too slow when Zulfadli Soekarno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-8. The San Jose Sparrows fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cyber EVO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
