With an all-out effort, orbit's Graig Avery threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Steve Seymour, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 9th minute Salvador Russo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blaine Owen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th match minute, orbit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrick Nicholas to maneuver through the defense. Ben Cornett's late challenge caught a orbit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ben Cornett helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Ben Cornett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ben Cornett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaine Owen having to interfere. Graig Avery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Weeks in the 21st minute of the match. LHS SOCCER's Graig Avery proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save LHS SOCCER from getting a goal against them. Steve Seymour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Graig Avery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Ollie Stanford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Louis Kruse shot from long distance in the 31st minute, but Graig Avery was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. With a little luck, LHS SOCCER's Graig Avery got control of the ball when Wilson Kitchen tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ben Cornett made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, LHS SOCCER's Salvador Russo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blaine Owen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilson Kitchen kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ben Cornett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Graig Avery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Weeks, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ben Cornett in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blaine Owen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute, Mike Cahill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of orbit booed when LHS SOCCER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darell Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Graig Avery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Woody Connolly, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 76 played minutes orbit got a freekick which was hit by Guy Velasco. Ben Cornett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaine Owen having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Casper Skaggs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LHS SOCCER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave orbit the free kick. After a rather tough play, LHS SOCCER's Casper Skaggs got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Wilson Kitchen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Graig Avery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Woody Connolly in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Vicente Weeks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The orbit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Ben Cornett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guy Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. LHS SOCCER's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
