The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by 洪景诚 in the 10th minute of play forced Pana FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo McDonough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pana FC booed when Airmont AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milan Knapp didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Pana FC's goal looked a bit too open when 洪景诚 came free, but Lorenzo McDonough reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Airmont AFC defense, Cesar Sherrill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rico Lloyd. The Airmont AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rico Lloyd should have stopped the shot. In the 27th match minute, Pana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Hines to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Pana FC's Lorenzo McDonough got control of the ball when Ernesto Fox tried to sneak it across the goal line. 洪景诚 struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Lorenzo McDonough didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Airmont AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon Hines during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jon Hines hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute of the match Teddy Samuel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorenzo McDonough skillfully saved the ball. Rico Lloyd came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Pana FC's Jon Hines. But to his dismay, Jon Hines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 46 minutes of play, Airmont AFC's 洪景诚 made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo McDonough was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 洪景诚 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Pana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Sherrill to maneuver through the defense. Rico Lloyd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Lindsey in the 60th minute of play. 洪景诚 might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorenzo McDonough. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 洪景诚 ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Airmont AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Milan Knapp hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Pana FC's goal looked a bit too open when 洪景诚 came free, but Lorenzo McDonough reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that 洪景诚's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lorenzo McDonough was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. A collision led to Airmont AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Aidan Hahn hit a great ball. The supporters of Pana FC booed when Airmont AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanford Conrad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Pana FC's goal looked a bit too open when 洪景诚 came free, but Lorenzo McDonough reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Cesar Sherrill reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rico Lloyd. The goal made the score 3-4. The Pana FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
