Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Corey Childers made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Discovery Bay's goalkeeper Rick Lane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Todd Yarbrough. In the 4th minute Percy Brantley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo McDonough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Sherrill in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rick Lane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute, Corey Childers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Discovery Bay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rick Lane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Sherrill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Percy Brantley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo McDonough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pana FC's Lorenzo McDonough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percy Brantley in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, Discovery Bay's Percy Brantley made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo McDonough was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Pana FC's Cesar Sherrill dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 35th minute Darrel McCauley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo McDonough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo McDonough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Brantley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Todd Yarbrough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41stth minute of the game Cesar Sherrill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Discovery Bay's Rick Lane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Percy Brantley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Discovery Bay! The referee gave Pana FC a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juan Galvan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Discovery Bay's Rick Lane. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Todd Yarbrough to strike the kick off in the second half. Darrel McCauley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo McDonough having to interfere. If Todd Yarbrough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Pana FC's Lorenzo McDonough got control of the ball when Darrel McCauley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jon Hines was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. Jon Hines kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Corey Childers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo McDonough having to interfere. Todd Yarbrough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Discovery Bay's goal looked a bit too open when Mckinley Hopkins came free, but Rick Lane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Discovery Bay's zone, Todd Yarbrough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rick Lane came out of the goal and Todd Yarbrough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Pana FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo McDonough had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Percy Brantley. Pana FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Corey Childers scored to the left of an out of position Lorenzo McDonough, making the score, 2-3. When the match was over Discovery Bay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pana FC throughout the match.
