An unexpectedly hard shot by Feng Qi Cheng in the 6th minute of play forced Smithtown's goalkeeper Oswaldo Sutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo Sutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feng Qi Cheng in the 7th minute of play. During the 13th minute of the match Neal Jacobs completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The supporters of IssueInsiders booed when Smithtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neal Jacobs didn't get a good kick on the ball. IssueInsiders's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smithtown the free kick. Tiago Goiano took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oswaldo Sutton. Oswaldo Sutton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Goiano made a kick off. Oswaldo Sutton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Castelletti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Al Schmitt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oliver Gregg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Sutton having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. IssueInsiders had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
