Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Carpinteria's Devin Higgins started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Carpinteria's zone, Rodger Alvaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bennett Russ came out of the goal and Rodger Alvaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bryce Witherspoon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devin Higgins in the 12th minute of the match. Bryce Witherspoon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devin Higgins, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Bennett Russ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnathan Peralta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnathan Peralta in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bennett Russ saved Carpinteria from getting behind. When Ingram's Johnathan Peralta in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carpinteria's goalie prevented a goal. After 26th play minutes Johnathan Peralta shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Bennett Russ and just under the crossbar into goal. After 28 played minutes Ingram got a freekick which was hit by Johnathan Peralta. After some careless play in the Carpinteria defense, Russ Meeks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bennett Russ. The Carpinteria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bennett Russ should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Carpinteria booed when Ingram was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hank Wheeler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Devin Higgins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryce Witherspoon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ingram booed when Carpinteria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neal Crane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bryce Witherspoon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Rodger Alvaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ingram's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodger Alvaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bennett Russ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Robin Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, Dale Joyner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bennett Russ. Dale Joyner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Shelton Watts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Bryce Witherspoon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zackary Cunningham kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Carpinteria defense, Rodger Alvaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bennett Russ. The Carpinteria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bennett Russ should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute of the match Blake Sousa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bennett Russ skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devin Higgins in the 79th minute of play forced Ingram's goalkeeper Bryce Witherspoon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, Ingram was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Bush to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carpinteria! The goalkeeper, Bennett Russ, was totally fooled by Ingram's Blake Sousa, who 88 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Rodger Alvaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bennett Russ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 2-6 when Johnathan Peralta sped through Carpinteria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bennett Russ. The Carpinteria fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ingram were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
