In the 20th minute, Olin Dooley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rico Lloyd was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 25 minutes, Mel Garner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mel Garner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rico Lloyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerald Quintero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, 洪景诚 put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Donald Cardenas. The audience was convinced that 洪景诚's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donald Cardenas was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's Rod Culver got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Mel Garner fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 45th minute, Tobias Ayers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rico Lloyd was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Ayers was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerald Quintero got free with Rico Lloyd in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Ayers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 洪景诚 in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donald Cardenas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Teddy Samuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Airmont AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teddy Samuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donald Cardenas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rico Lloyd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerald Quintero in the 63rd minute. Rico Lloyd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Ayers in the 64th minute of play. When 洪景诚 came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Airmont AFC fans jumped to their feet. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Airmont AFC reached it. In the 72nd minute, 洪景诚 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Airmont AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 76th minute, Stanford Conrad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olin Dooley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rico Lloyd having to interfere. Gerald Quintero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Rico Lloyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gerald Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rico Lloyd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerald Quintero in the 87th minute. Donald Cardenas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 洪景诚 in the 88th minute of the match. When 洪景诚 fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
