Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Abe Bellamy made the kick off and thus started the match. Carlos Dobbs charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Dobbs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlos Dobbs hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Damian Robbins struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Quinton Sewell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peachtree City AFC. Quentin Belanger kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Robbins in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quinton Sewell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute, Duke Hall made a precise shot to the right of Quinton Sewell. Alden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Dobbs got free with Tyler Sanchez in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geoffrey Darden hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Duke Hall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Quinton Sewell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peachtree City AFC's Damian Robbins got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Robbins made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Duke Hall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quinton Sewell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Robbins in the 53rd minute of play. After 56 minutes, Garth Smith mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peachtree City AFC and the Alden players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Peachtree City AFC's Garth Smith got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 59 minutes of play, Alden's Del Carrington made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tyler Sanchez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alden's Quinton Sewell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Alden from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the match, Peachtree City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abe Bellamy came free, but Tyler Sanchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Peachtree City AFC's zone, Del Carrington stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tyler Sanchez came out of the goal and Del Carrington tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tyler Sanchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Del Carrington in the 70th minute of play. Tyrese Stacy kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Del Carrington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyler Sanchez having to interfere. The supporters of Alden booed when Peachtree City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jason Lacy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quentin Belanger struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Tyler Sanchez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alden. Alden's Quinton Sewell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Alden from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Alden's Del Carrington got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes Peachtree City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bruce Vogel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Del Carrington in the 84th minute of play forced Peachtree City AFC's goalkeeper Tyler Sanchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Damian Robbins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinton Sewell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Duke Hall came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Peachtree City AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duke Hall couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peachtree City AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
