When Tyrese Stacy came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Peachtree City AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tyrese Stacy couldn't finish the play. Abraham Hewitt hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 19 minutes in the game, Roosevelt Riggs fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tyler Sanchez having to interfere. Roosevelt Riggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyler Sanchez having to interfere. Peachtree City AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duke Hall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Roosevelt Riggs kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tyler Sanchez. That made the score 1-1 in the 48 minute of play.

The wind increased when Shelton Brower made the kick off in the second half. If Roosevelt Riggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Peachtree City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Roosevelt Riggs came free, but Tyler Sanchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tyler Sanchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roosevelt Riggs in the 63rd minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Peachtree City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Hewitt. Roosevelt Riggs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Peachtree City AFC's Tyler Sanchez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tyler Sanchez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roosevelt Riggs went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Georgia State's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
