Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. J.P. Urbina started the match with the kick off. After 8 minutes of play, Sawgrass's Hunter Sousa made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jake Cronshagen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Heriberto Alston's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jake Cronshagen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Inter de Antrax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marshall Stoner came free, but Jake Cronshagen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Val Pool managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sawgrass's supporters rose to their feet, but Val Pool was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jake Cronshagen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jake Cronshagen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heriberto Alston in the 29th minute. A collision led to Inter de Antrax FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Curtis Carter hit a great ball. Cobi Holt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter de Antrax FC's goalkeeper Jake Cronshagen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jake Cronshagen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marshall Stoner in the 37th minute of play. J.P. Urbina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sawgrass's Duane Carbajal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.P. Urbina in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Napoleon Hickman during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Sawgrass was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napoleon Hickman to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marshall Stoner to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Antrax FC's zone, Marshall Stoner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jake Cronshagen came out of the goal and Marshall Stoner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Marshall Stoner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jake Cronshagen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heriberto Alston in the 62nd minute of play forced Inter de Antrax FC's goalkeeper Jake Cronshagen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Marshall Stoner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Cronshagen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jake Cronshagen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heriberto Alston, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Inter de Antrax FC's Jake Cronshagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marshall Stoner in the 67th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match Val Pool shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jake Cronshagen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Inter de Antrax FC's Jake Cronshagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marshall Stoner in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Sawgrass booed when Inter de Antrax FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shayne Ewing didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Marshall Stoner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sawgrass's supporters rose to their feet, but Marshall Stoner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jake Cronshagen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sawgrass's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
