Bernardo Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Georgia State booed when MARBLE SYSTEMS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Parker Baron kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to MARBLE SYSTEMS getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Zachariah Fitzpatrick hit a great ball. After 21 minutes of play, Georgia State's Shelton Brower made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bob Shipley was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute Roosevelt Riggs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Shipley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of MARBLE SYSTEMS booed when Georgia State was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Scott Tyler didn't get a good kick on the ball. 陆星镇 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Bob Shipley made a huge save. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Raymond Ruiz sped through Georgia State's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giovanni Doe. 34 minutes into the match, MARBLE SYSTEMS's Raymond Ruiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giovanni Doe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when 陆星镇 got free with Bob Shipley in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bob Shipley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roosevelt Riggs in the 41st minute of play. Georgia State were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after MARBLE SYSTEMS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Parker Baron took the corner. Bob Shipley came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Georgia State's Roosevelt Riggs. But to his dismay, Roosevelt Riggs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Georgia State's Shelton Brower got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shelton Brower stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reggie Grady hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Parker Baron took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bob Shipley. MARBLE SYSTEMS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 56th minute Roosevelt Riggs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Shipley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bob Shipley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 陆星镇 in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, MARBLE SYSTEMS's goal looked a bit too open when Roosevelt Riggs came free, but Bob Shipley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roosevelt Riggs in the 62nd minute of play forced MARBLE SYSTEMS's goalkeeper Bob Shipley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Georgia State's goalkeeper Giovanni Doe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Miranda. After a rather tough play, MARBLE SYSTEMS's Reggie Grady got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 76th match minute, Georgia State was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 陆星镇 to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raymond Ruiz in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovanni Doe saved Georgia State from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Georgia State had won after a very even match.
