In the 7thth minute of the game Roosevelt Riggs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seaford Glory's Richard Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giovanni Doe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desmond Garland in the 8th minute of the match. Vaughn Clarke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Doe having to interfere. Seaford Glory's Richard Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roosevelt Riggs in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Georgia State's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bart Devine fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Desmond Garland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Seaford Glory's Giovanni Doe threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Desmond Garland, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 22 minutes into the game, Georgia State's Shelton Brower nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shelton Brower in the 27th minute of play forced Seaford Glory's goalkeeper Richard Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shelton Brower in the 28th minute of play. Seaford Glory's Richard Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roosevelt Riggs in the 55th minute of play. Richard Santos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roosevelt Riggs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 60 minute of play. Desmond Garland got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Seaford Glory getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Desmond Garland hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shelton Brower in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richard Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Parker Baron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timmy Vang scored 1-5 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giovanni Doe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Seaford Glory made a substitution. Kevin Epperson replaced Denis Sheehan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shelton Brower got free with Richard Santos in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Roosevelt Riggs reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Richard Santos. The goal made the score 1-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Bart Devine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seaford Glory's supporters rose to their feet, but Bart Devine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With his leg Richard Santos managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Georgia State's Shelton Brower fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Georgia State players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
