Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonard Langston started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Anacortes's goal looked a bit too open when Taylor McMahon came free, but Bradly Tatum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Alvarado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taylor McMahon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Bradly Tatum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10thth minute of the game Leonard Langston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wayne Hills Patriots's Hans Spencer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Shane Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Spencer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Langston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Wayne Hills Patriots fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Wayne Hills Patriots's Mario Alvarado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mario Alvarado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradly Tatum having to interfere. After 24 played minutes, Wayne Hills Patriots's Lucas Kaplan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bradly Tatum came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wayne Hills Patriots reached it. When Taylor McMahon came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Wayne Hills Patriots fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Taylor McMahon couldn't finish the play. Taylor McMahon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bradly Tatum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leonard Langston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shane Hutton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hans Spencer having to make a save. Leonard Langston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Hans Spencer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Spencer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Langston, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Hans Spencer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shane Hutton in the 39th minute. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Mario Alvarado put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bradly Tatum. The Anacortes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wayne Hills Patriots were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Alvarado to strike the kick off in the second half. Wayne Hills Patriots's attentive Cruz Russo managed to snatch the ball when Gustavo Bergstrom made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. If Cruz Russo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wayne Hills Patriots's Hans Spencer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shane Hutton in the 62nd minute of play. Cruz Russo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Anacortes's Shane Hutton got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Anacortes's zone, Taylor McMahon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bradly Tatum came out of the goal and Taylor McMahon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Alvarado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 played minutes Anacortes got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Abbott. Hans Spencer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shane Hutton, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shane Hutton in the 78th minute of play forced Wayne Hills Patriots's goalkeeper Hans Spencer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Spencer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Langston in the 83rd minute of play. Bradly Tatum was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Taylor McMahon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Taylor McMahon really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Cruz Russo's late challenge caught a Anacortes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cruz Russo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wayne Hills Patriots's Cruz Russo got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Wayne Hills Patriots supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wayne Hills Patriots would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
