Mitch Ott came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Air Nomads's Octavio Stahl. Danial Ramos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors LA's Danial Ramos got a free kick in the 28th minute. Abdul Hatfield struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Mitch Ott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Air Nomads. Mitch Ott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdul Hatfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Mitch Ott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Stahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors LA's goal looked a bit too open when Abdul Hatfield came free, but Mitch Ott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Octavio Stahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mitch Ott. Mitch Ott dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 41st minute Gabriel Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitch Ott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors LA's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Rogers came free, but Mitch Ott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Air Nomads were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josiah Barker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Air Nomads's Mitch Ott threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abdul Hatfield, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Boca Juniors LA's Mitch Ott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdul Hatfield in the 80th minute of play. With a little luck, Boca Juniors LA's Mitch Ott got control of the ball when Octavio Stahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Mitch Ott successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eliseo Aquino's late challenge caught a Air Nomads's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Aquino helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Boca Juniors LA getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Eliseo Aquino hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Air Nomads's goal looked a bit too open when Lyle Bonds came free, but Gilbert Woodson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Air Nomads players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
