Enoch Holliday started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Cortland got a freekick which was hit by Enoch Holliday. In the 3rd minute, Will Theilacker made a precise shot to the right of Greg Landis. Cortland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, Los Angeles Premier FC's Tom Epperson got control of the ball when Enoch Holliday tried to sneak it across the goal line. Greg Landis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Theilacker in the 16th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enoch Holliday got free with Tom Epperson in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enoch Holliday sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enoch Holliday in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Epperson saved Los Angeles Premier FC from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Danial Waddell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Los Angeles Premier FC's Will Theilacker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Greg Landis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Salvatore Aviles hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Will Theilacker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Los Angeles Premier FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Will Theilacker made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Ken Wray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cortland and the Los Angeles Premier FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ken Wray kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Cortland getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Teodoro Chang hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Los Angeles Premier FC's Will Theilacker dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Ken Wray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Tom Epperson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cortland's goalkeeper Greg Landis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 66 minutes into the game, Salvatore Aviles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Angeles Premier FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cortland the free kick. Salvatore Aviles hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Tom Epperson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cortland's Ken Wray shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. 72 minutes into the match, Ken Wray notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Los Angeles Premier FC's Tom Epperson. Tom Epperson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, Ken Wray ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tom Epperson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Will Theilacker hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Teodoro Chang kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Los Angeles Premier FC's Jamal Ciccaglione managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mike Thorne in the 88 minute of the game. Los Angeles Premier FC's Tom Epperson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enoch Holliday in the 93rd minute of play. Los Angeles Premier FC's Jamal Ciccaglione quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mike Thorne, made in the 95th minute of the game. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
