The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Green Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Helberg to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enoch Holliday in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Cortland's Greg Landis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Cortland from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enoch Holliday in the 44th minute of play forced Green Machine's goalkeeper Rufus Bryant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Rufus Bryant managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Cortland's Enoch Holliday fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cortland's Greg Landis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zackary Allred in the 63rd minute of play. After 68 minutes of play Cortland's Bob Leslie was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 69th minute, Bob Leslie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Green Machine's Rufus Bryant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Green Machine from getting a goal against them. After 73 minutes Green Machine's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ken Wray who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Cortland's Ken Wray to fire away a dangerous shot which Rufus Bryant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Greg Landis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zackary Allred in the 75th minute of play. Green Machine's Rufus Bryant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enoch Holliday in the 80th minute of play. Enoch Hollidays short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Rufus Bryant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cortland's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ken Wray in the 83rd minute. Laurence Zamora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Bryant having to interfere. Rufus Bryant made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Enoch Holliday sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, Green Machine could leave the field as winners, despite Cortland having more of the ball for most of the match.
