An unexpectedly hard shot by Theodore Osborne in the 62nd minute of play forced Sport Club Corinthians's goalkeeper Acácio Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd match minute, San Juan de Argentina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Marin to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Jayvier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Winston Rosario having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Cesar Delarosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot by Brad Bauer from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Winston Rosario's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sport Club Corinthians walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
