Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leonard Langston made the kick off which started today's match. When Enoch Holliday came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Cortland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enoch Holliday couldn't finish the play. With his leg Bradly Tatum managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Cortland's Enoch Holliday fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anacortes's Shane Hutton got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Shane Hutton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enoch Hollidays short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Bradly Tatum to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cortland's Greg Landis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Langston in the 16th minute of play. Cortland's Enoch Holliday got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Enoch Holliday came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Cortland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enoch Holliday couldn't finish the play. Shane Hutton struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Greg Landis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anacortes. Greg Landis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Langston in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Ken Wray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anacortes's goalkeeper Bradly Tatum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 played minutes Cortland got a freekick which was hit by Mike Thorne. After 39 played minutes Cortland got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Chang. Bradly Tatum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enoch Holliday's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Cortland's Mckinley Cottrell got a free kick in the 44th minute.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enoch Holliday stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bob Leslie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Cortland's Greg Landis got control of the ball when Shane Hutton tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cortland's Bob Leslie got a free kick in the 55th minute. Greg Landis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Langston in the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cortland's zone, Shane Hutton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Greg Landis came out of the goal and Shane Hutton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Enoch Holliday's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bradly Tatum was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Anacortes's Bradly Tatum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ken Wray in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Laurence Zamora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bradly Tatum. Anacortes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laurence Zamora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enoch Holliday in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bradly Tatum saved Anacortes from getting behind. Teodoro Chang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bradly Tatum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cortland's Bob Leslie got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Bob Leslie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neal Crockett got free with Greg Landis in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute, Enoch Holliday got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cortland fully deserved thier win.
