Octavio Stahl who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Shawn Flanagan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abdul Hatfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Abdul Hatfield reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Shawn Flanagan. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 21st minute, Octavio Stahl made a precise shot to the right of Shawn Flanagan. Green Mountain Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 24thth minute of the game Octavio Stahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Mountain Boys's Shawn Flanagan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Air Nomads's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Barrett came free, but Gilbert Woodson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shawn Flanagan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerrod Tripp in the 46th minute of the match. If Abdul Hatfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdul Hatfield to make the kick off.
