Green Machine's Rufus Bryant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Stahl in the 25th minute of play. In the 39th minute, one of Green Machine:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Green Machine. Abdul Hatfield walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Octavio Stahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes, Jimmy Helberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Green Machine and the Air Nomads players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rufus Bryant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdul Hatfield in the 51st minute. The supporters of Air Nomads booed when Green Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curtis Groves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerrod Tripp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rufus Bryant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Rufus Bryant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 91 minutes into the match, Green Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Stahl came free, but Rufus Bryant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Troy Croft fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Machine's protests and gave Troy Croft a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, Green Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Troy Croft to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Air Nomads left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Green Machine.
