Hans Spencer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamal Ciccaglione in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 6th match minute, Coppell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danial Waddell to maneuver through the defense. Cruz Russo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Jamal Ciccaglione's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hans Spencer was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Giovanni Cody made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Alvarado in the 15th minute. A hard shot 16 in the game by Mario Alvarado from a close distance when the talented Giovanni Cody managed to make a qualified save. Coppell's players were relieved. Giovanni Cody took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Alvarado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans Spencer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamal Ciccaglione in the 20th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Wayne Hills Patriots was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cruz Russo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 27 minutes, Jamal Ciccaglione managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coppell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamal Ciccaglione was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Vicente Hewitt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coppell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wayne Hills Patriots the free kick. Vicente Hewitt hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Mario Alvarados short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Giovanni Cody to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Wayne Hills Patriots getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Lucas Kaplan hit a great ball. Danial Waddell kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Vicente Hewitt kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Mario Alvarado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giovanni Cody came out and tried to block the shot, but Mario Alvarado slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Alvarado to strike the kick off in the second half. Hans Spencer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jospeh Duke in the 52nd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Wayne Hills Patriots's Mario Alvarado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni Cody made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Mario Alvarado came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Wayne Hills Patriots fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Alvarado couldn't finish the play. Cruz Russo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Giovanni Cody tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesus Riker, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hans Spencer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jospeh Duke in the 71st minute of play. Taylor McMahon might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giovanni Cody. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Taylor McMahon ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jospeh Duke in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Spencer saved Wayne Hills Patriots from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cruz Russo during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute, Jospeh Duke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coppell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Coppell getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Salvatore Aviles hit a great ball. Wayne Hills Patriots's Taylor McMahon got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jed Byrd charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jed Byrd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Coppell got a freekick which was hit by Jed Byrd. Giovanni Cody took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Alvarado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Weldon Benton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jospeh Duke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamal Ciccaglione struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Hans Spencer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coppell. When the referee ended the match the Wayne Hills Patriots players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
