Spectators: 8054 (Terracing: 6042, Seating: 1852, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jim Ruff kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Meeks got free with Will Oliver in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute Jim Ruff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyrese Cuevas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Laughlin's Jim Ruff sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tyrese Cuevas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Laughlin's goal looked a bit too open when Tyrone Baird came free, but Will Oliver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Woods Cross's Oliver Meeks came free and shot a quick shot against goal 13 minutes in the game, fortunately Will Oliver had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Brice Green kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Will Oliver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyrone Baird, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laughlin's Jim Ruff got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Laughlin got a freekick which was hit by Walton Hirsch. Laughlin's Will Oliver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Laughlin from getting a goal against them. Walton Hirsch charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walton Hirsch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Walton Hirsch hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrone Baird in the 28th minute of play forced Laughlin's goalkeeper Will Oliver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Alfredo Davenport left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laughlin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Oliver Meeks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Will Oliver made a huge save. With a little luck, Laughlin's Will Oliver got control of the ball when Mervin Kramer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Will Oliver made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Meeks in the 43rd minute. If Jim Ruff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tyrone Baird made a kick off. Jim Ruffs short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Tyrese Cuevas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tyrese Cuevas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jim Ruff showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. After 58 played minutes Woods Cross got a freekick which was hit by Bruce McMahon. Tyrese Cuevas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Ruff in the 61st minute. In the 61st minute, Laughlin's Jim Ruff ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tyrese Cuevas. Tyrese Cuevas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Alfredo Davenport fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrese Cuevas having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Laughlin's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Meeks came free, but Will Oliver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.J. Zimmerman kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes, Woods Cross's Alan Hartman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Will Oliver came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Woods Cross reached it. The supporters of Woods Cross booed when Laughlin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walton Hirsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jim Ruff struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Tyrese Cuevas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laughlin. Tyrese Cuevas came out of the goal and Jim Ruff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walton Hirsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrese Cuevas having to interfere. Jim Ruff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
