After 12 played minutes Pelé & Cosmos MZS got a freekick which was hit by Merle Randle. Mitch Bates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sonny Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sonny Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sonny Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Cameron Busby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Rick Madison made a huge save. Mitch Bates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sonny Dias took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oren Nugent. Oren Nugent dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When %teams%'s Mitch Bates was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 35 minutes into the game. Rick Madison was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Vernon Lawler kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Oren Nugent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Sharp in the 43rd minute of play. Cameron Busby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ricardo Sharp made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Cameron Busby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rick Madison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cameron Busby blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rick Madison having to make a save. Rick Madison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mitch Bates's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Cameron Busby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Rick Madison was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitch Bates in the 63rd minute of play forced South Sioux City's goalkeeper Rick Madison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merle Randle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rick Madison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, South Sioux City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Moses to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, South Sioux City's goal looked a bit too open when Mitch Bates came free, but Rick Madison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rick Madison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitch Bates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoff Duran in the 78th minute of play forced Pelé & Cosmos MZS's goalkeeper Oren Nugent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, Pelé & Cosmos MZS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robben Carlos to maneuver through the defense. Vernon Lawler's late challenge caught a South Sioux City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vernon Lawler helped the player get up and apologised. South Sioux City's Rick Madison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitch Bates in the 85th minute of play. Cameron Busby scored 4-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rick Madison, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mitch Bates scored 5-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rick Madison, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pelé & Cosmos MZS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
