Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rui Marques made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Pingyu FC booed when Detroit AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trenton Knox didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Elijah Spivey came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Pingyu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elijah Spivey couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Pingyu FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Connor Amos hit a great ball. Robin Henley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Young King, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Rui Marques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robin Henley was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Curt Bergstrom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jonas Siegel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stevie Peterson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Stevie Peterson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Henley. Pingyu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stevie Peterson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Curt Bergstrom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jonas Siegel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Siegel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curt Bergstrom, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sal Colvin during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Detroit AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sal Colvin to maneuver through the defense. Curt Bergstrom in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonas Siegel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half Detroit AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elijah Spivey to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Detroit AFC got a freekick which was hit by Young King. Jonas Siegel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curt Bergstrom in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Detroit AFC's zone, Elijah Spivey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Siegel came out of the goal and Elijah Spivey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute Rui Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Henley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jack Kincaid kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Spicer during the 64th minute. Rui Marques scored 0-3 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robin Henley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pingyu FC's Robin Henley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Marques in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute Rui Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Henley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, Detroit AFC's Young King made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robin Henley was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute, Rui Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Detroit AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 96 minutes into the game, Detroit AFC's Young King nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robin Henley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The Pingyu FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Detroit AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Detroit AFC.
