Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Takis Oikonomopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 12 minutes into the game, Lloyd Arredondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hillsborough's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Messi Daily Racing Form the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hillsborough's Lloyd Arredondo got a free kick in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the Hillsborough defense, Jorge Gifford kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donald Kennedy. The Hillsborough fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donald Kennedy should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drew Uhl in the 24th minute of play forced Messi Daily Racing Form's goalkeeper Takis Oikonomopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Garret Hanson fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hillsborough's protests and gave Garret Hanson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hillsborough's Garret Hanson got a free kick in the 25th minute. Donald Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Gifford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Messi Daily Racing Form getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Robert Uribe hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Drew Uhl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Takis Oikonomopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neil Ruff got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jack Costello. If Jack Costello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Gardner hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Drew Uhl to strike the kick off in the second half. Napoleon Goode kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Jack Cabourne took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Takis Oikonomopoulos. Messi Daily Racing Form's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Hillsborough's Drew Uhl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Takis Oikonomopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Donald Kennedy made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Jorge Gifford sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Gifford in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Donald Kennedy, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hillsborough's Garret Hanson suffered a sprained foot after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Messi Daily Racing Form's Ruben Gardner got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute Jorge Gifford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donald Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Messi Daily Racing Form's Gregg Estes got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neil Ruff charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neil Ruff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Messi Daily Racing Form's Thaddeus Kaiser was substituted for Gregg Estes. In the 86th match minute, Messi Daily Racing Form was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Gifford to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 88 minutes, Drew Uhl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hillsborough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Drew Uhl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Hillsborough were the better team. Hillsborough's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
